We're excited to share our latest sustainable farming project in Marianna, Florida. It’s all about creating a cost-effective and self-sufficient environment for raising meat chickens.
We started by building a vibrant chick brooder. With plenty of space and warmth, our chicks will thrive here as they grow to healthy maturity. This ensures they have a great start in life, helping them develop strong and robust.
Rethinking feed sustainability, we have also introduced a duckweed pond on-site. Duckweed is packed with nutrients, making it an excellent and sustainable feed option for poultry.
Adding another layer of efficiency to our system, we established a black soldier fly farm. These little marvels turn food scraps into rich protein, a fantastic feed supplement.
Our expertise in homesteading supports innovative projects that are kind to both the animals and the environment. By focusing on ingenuity and practicality, we’re redefining what’s possible for local farm life.
